Technical Metals Incorporated was started in 1970 by a group of entrepreneurs who were aiming to create a business that would provide manufactured parts to manufacturing companies as well as the general public.
Although there is now only one owner, the entrepreneurial spirit remains. Over the years, TMI has grown from a one-employee operation to one that does business for companies all over the world, from one machine serving one customer to over fifty machines serving over one hundred customers, and from a small building in Chatsworth, IL to a 24,000 square foot building in the picturesque town of Fairbury.
This growth has also spurred our unwavering commitment to our employees, our customers, and our community. We understand the constant advancements within the industry and are dedicated to continuous training for our employees. The result is a company that can offer viable manufacturing solutions for today's international companies and tomorrow's global firms.
